B2 Manufacturing offers the rotary swaging of tubing to your required configuration.
In addition to manufacturing Laser Stir Welded tubing B2 Manufacturing can form tubing into near net finished products. Using B2 tubing or your supplied raw tubing we can form many different types of end configurations. These range from diameter reductions to pointing and an endless variety of special shapes and spirals. The ability to reduce a tube outside diameter to fit into the inside of a non swaged tube is used for telescopic applications.
B2 Manufacturing’s equipment and tooling produces a superior surface finish and very precise dimensional consistency. Rotary swaging is a cold forming process which uses specialized tooling that forms material using over a 1000 hits per minute.
This high frequency micro forming can impart very delicate features into very thin wall tubing which is not capable by any other methods. This method does not remove any material but rather reforms it into a high precision finished part.
While rotary swaging has amazing benefits when forming tubing it also is practical for solid rod / bar applications.
